Why dogs like it here

Four things we do differently from the salon down the road.

  • One groomer per dog

The person who greets your dog at the door is the person who finishes them. Nobody gets handed off halfway through.

  • Hand dried, never caged

Every coat is dried by hand and brushed out on the table. No box, no fan, no dog left alone with a machine.

  • A small, quiet salon

One bath, one table and soft music. There is no wall of kennels here, so there is no wall of barking either.

  • Time for nervous dogs

We book about 8 dogs a day on purpose. A shy dog can take three breaks and still go home on time.

Grooming packages

Three appointments cover almost every dog.

Price depends on size, coat and how matted things are, so we quote it in a minute on the phone or at drop-off instead of guessing on a web page.

We tell you the pick-up window at drop-off and text you if it moves. No dog sits here waiting for a slot to open up.

What to expect

Four steps, and you know all of them before you arrive.

  1. 1

    Drop off

Come in at your appointment time. Arrivals are spaced fifteen minutes apart so the lobby stays calm and your dog is not walking into a crowd.

  2. 2

    Two minute consult

We check the coat for mats together at the table, talk about length, and agree what the finish should look like before anything starts.

  3. 3

    The groom

Bath, hand dry, brush out, then the clipper or scissor work. Same groomer the whole way. If we hit a problem, you get a phone call, not a surprise.

  4. 4

    Pick up

We text you a photo the moment they're done. Collect within the hour so nobody has to sit around waiting for a ride home.

Size and coat guide

How long will it actually take?

Rough time ranges for a full groom, based on the dogs we see most. A matted coat, a first visit or a dog who needs breaks will push it longer, and we will always tell you that at drop-off rather than at pick-up.

Prices follow the same three things: size, coat and condition. Call and describe your dog and you will have a number in about a minute.

Bath and brush appointments run shorter. Nail trims take about ten minutes.

My spaniel used to shake in the car on grooming day. Three visits in, she pulls me through the door. Same groomer every time made all the difference.

They called me before doing anything extra on a bad mat instead of just shaving him and handing me a bigger bill. That phone call is why I keep booking.
Devin K.Ashgrove
The de-shedding is not a gimmick. I filled a grocery bag with what came off my husky and my black trousers survived the whole month.
